Thanks John!

One of the things we emphasize here at Festivus is making sure to give submitting filmmakers the respect they deserve. When somebody submits a film, we always take the time to drop them a line and say thanks for including Festivus in their plans. In response to one of those emails, John Myers (“Third Wheel” Short Short category) writes:

Just wanted to say thank you for the personal message. It means a lot to us filmmakers that while fighting through the world of Film Fests, there’s one that seems to genuinely care about us. Not only see us as toy’s.

Festivus sounds amazing and (being a native) it makes me proud that a Colorado festival makes such an effort to take care of the filmmakers. You guys go above and beyond.

We’re always excited to get emails like this, and during the hectic submission process it helps remind all of us here at Festivus why we do what we do. So John- THANK YOU!
