Chris Hollands over at Film Festival Secrets took notice of our screener’s review clips. Thanks for the friendly words Chris, we think it’s a great idea too! Check out his post about it HERE.
Nice… power box! Don’t forget there is still time to get in on the sticker contest. All you have to do is send your mailing address to info@festivusfilmfestival.com with STICKER CONTEST in the subject line, and we’ll send you your pack of stickers right away!

We got a nice little writeup in Festivus alum Lucas McNelly’s blog 100 Films. Lucas became a part of the Festivus Family when his film Gravida played at Festivus Year 1. Check out his post by clicking HERE.
Continuing our journey through the screening process, this week hosted by screener extraordinaire Timmy DeMasters, as he reviews narrative short Almas, a film by Paul Michael Gordon.
It’s great motivation for all of us in the Festivus Family when we get an email from somebody that really supports what we are doing. Today we got a great one from Arian Harandi, the filmmaker behind Ten Hits. Thanks so much Arian!
Dear EVERYONE at Festivus,
This is the first festival I’m truly on the edge of my seat, waiting to hear from. We did submit our film to a few festivals, but from the minute we found festivus Alex and I both became excited over what you guys represent. I been reading more and more on your festival and becoming more and more excited. The fact that we received a personal message back from you guys (Johnathan) and that anything i read about the testimonials of everyone at your festival is amazing.
Just wanted to thank you guys, and since we got to wait till Dec 7th for notification, wanted to drop you guys a line and hope everything is going great.
Thank you
Arian Harandi
We got a nice little plug on Film Courage, a fantastic show on LA Talk Radio featuring David Branin and Karen Worden. Check it out here.
I love it… the yellow from the fire hydrant really sets it off nicely, doesn’t it? We’ve got some great entries so far, keep ‘em coming!
