The headline about says it… to make it in by the late deadline you have to submit your film (on Withoutabox) by midnight Friday. If you have any concerns or questions about the deadline just drop us a line. We’re approaching the end of the road for submissions to the 2010 season. The Withoutabox-only extended deadline ends Nov. 16, in case you can’t make the late deadline.

Keep your eyes open when you’re out and around Denver having a beer. You could very well look down and be staring at a Festivus Film Festival beer coaster. Thanks to Breckenridge Brewery, nearly 20,000 Festivus coasters will be distributed to bars and pubs across Denver. The coasters feature Festivus on one side and Breck on the other. Seriously awesome.

Our late deadline submission period is shorter than the standard and earlybird periods, so don’t let it catch you by surprise. Entries must be postmarked by Oct. 30! I’ve received emails asking if films submitted during the late deadline have less of a chance of acceptance. The answer is no; all films submitted to the festival, regardless of deadline, go through the exact same screening process. So don’t worry!
